ActiveSG Park @ Ang Mo Kio – A Refreshing Swim Experience in Singapore
Ang Mo Kio Swimming Complex, now known as ActiveSG Park @ Ang Mo Kio, is a top-tier swimming facility managed by Sport Singapore. Established on May 24, 1982, this complex is a key part of the Ang Mo Kio rejuvenation plan, promising a host of new sports amenities, including a sheltered swimming pool, a well-equipped gym, and an indoor fitness studio.
Please note that Ang Mo Kio Swimming Complex will be temporarily closed for rejuvenation works from 30th October 2023 to 2025.
With three pools on offer, ActiveSG Park @ Ang Mo Kio caters to swimmers of all ages and levels. The lap pool, perfect for fitness enthusiasts, offers a water depth ranging from 1.4m to 1.8m. There’s also a kid’s pool and a beginner-friendly pool with a comfortable water depth of 0.9m. For added convenience, lockers are available at a cost of $0.60 for 2 hours, with payment options via PayNow or the Active SG app.
While the toilet facilities may be a bit dated, they are well-maintained, and you’ll find two hair dryers in the changing area. ActiveSG Park @ Ang Mo Kio boasts an aesthetically pleasing old-school design with three pools, including a competition pool, a training pool, and a sheltered wading pool, ensuring a delightful and sunburn-free swimming experience, even during the midday sun.
