In 2024, MOE Kindergarten, Primary, and Secondary Schools will follow a structured academic calendar. The first term, from January 2 to March 8, 2024, marks the start of the school year, followed by subsequent terms: March 18 to May 24, June 24 to August 30, and September 9 to November 15 for the second, third, and fourth terms, respectively.

  • Second Term: March 18 to May 24, 2024.
  • Third Term: June 24 to August 30, 2024.
  • Fourth Term: September 9 to November 15, 2024.

Term 4 for 1st-year JC and 1st/2nd-year MI students spans from September 9 to November 22, 2024. Conversely, the final academic term (Term 4) for 2nd-year JC and 3rd-year MI students extends after the conclusion of the GCE A-Level examinations.

Academic Terms:

  • JC Year Two and MI Year Two/Three: First term starts on January 8, 2024.
  • JC Year One and MI Year One: First term starts on February 2, 2024.
